So This is for Naruto-artists [link] secret santa project, and the person i got was Sandy--Apples. [link] Who turned out to be, like myself, a big fan of Gaara. So This is my present for her. Merry Christmas Sandy 
It is not a happy christmas drawing. As you can see.
If Gaara was never born his family would have been normal.
His birth took every happy christmas from Temari and kankuro as well, so i can imagine it is not the greatest day of the year for him, since it is a family holiday. (If they even have christmas in Suna)
But i did not draw that only to make your christmas sad.
I did it, because most of us has something we take for granted. Something that many people like Gaara (only... real ones...) wouldn't take for granted - Our families. And we have to appreciate that.
So on this christmas, go to your family, gather everyone you have, and show them you love them.
This holiday is not about the presents the food, or even the birth of Jesus Christ. In the end it is all about the family.
Merry christmas and Happy new year.

Overall Vision Originality
Technique ImpactAnatomy is mostly fair. His left arm seems a bit skewed and his nose (and face anatomy) is a bit scrunched together. Sand effect is very nice, especially the level of detail with the family. The background is obviously not the focus but it is slightly jarring to look at in comparison to the rest of the picture. I suggest more work can be done on it. The light rays are also very well done though it makes me question if shadows are in front or behind Gaara (it seems like the direction of the light is a little ambiguous). Gaara's eyes do not appear to be looking at the family so maybe that could be an improvement too? Overall a nice piece thou <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
