Many things happened to me for the past time, and I won't burden you with all of them. But one of the important stuff would be that I stopped study Ethnology, for many reasons, not one of them being I lost interests in this type of um…science, I actually still like the subject, but it's not what my heart really desire to do. Jewels are. And drawing is.
I will not be able to become a jeweler anytime soon, I get that. so I went for the other thing I desire a lot - drawing. I left ethnology and hopefully I will study at the academy in Plovdiv soon, with the hope of becoming comic artist.
But that's away. I know I cannot draw yet, so I have started lessons, and alongside with theim I am doing studies.
And now we approach the main topic of this journal.
In my life as an artist, hobbyist and hope-to-be-professionalist
First off:
All the credit goes to the respective owners and creator of everything shown in this journal, and I am just promoting their work, in a way. Please follow the rules if they have any.
I'll start with several amazing tutorials I found useful
My most favorite is probably this one:
It shows how to use speed painting to improve your drawing, and it this helped me a lot on backgrounds, though I am far from this artist level
The brushes used in this Tutorial he/she linked in the description, if you have no problem using this type of bushes, check them out, they are really cool. Some people conceder it cheating. I personally do not.
Next:
Other than amazing gallery keelerleah - [link] - has a few tutorials, my forite being the one here: [link]
That is meant to teach us how to color in Photoshop, under traditional pencil - like that

Again I'm not even close yet, but it is awesome and useful for many other things.
And isn't Renji fucking hot here, btw?
This little blood tutorial
For those who don't wanna use brushes. I used that several times, you have to be careful with the flow of the blood and the lights, but it's simple and useful
I use this one like all the time:
It's very simple and works like a charm for me.
But let's leave it at that. Deviant art is full of tutorials, which you can find and use, and many are just great
Other thing you might find in DA is the brushes and the photo stock that can save your life sometimes. Here you'll see some of them:
First I'll start with the brush set I use in any of my drawings:

THIS hairbrush set is a life saver
This brush artist here [link] that goes by the nickname Redheadstock, has amazing brushes, I've sued many times. If you want check them out.
My both mostly used photo reference artist would be:
[link] - `mjranum-stock

And
[link] - SenshiStock

Me and my friends also have a stock, though not as nearly as good. You can find it here:
[link] - It goes by the name The-Wolfpack-Stock

Many other awesome stock artists can be found around here, it's not just those I've mentioned.
Please be respectful o them and their work.
And for last 3 sites I really fell in love with:
[link] - This one is for drawing sketches and studies, it really makes a person just sit down and do it. Even a lazy ass such as myself
[link] - This one is similar, but they are 3D models. If you take the time to look around the site, you'll see there is a lot of poses, you can spin them from different angles etc. Really great site.
And Finally:
[link] - This is coloring site, I've been using lately. I find it really cool, sometimes it gives me ideas I don't have for a color, etc
I also read some books, but they are different topic. You can also search for YouTube tutorials, they are a lot.
I have a lot to learn, and I thank the internet and it's pixel people for the help, they have given me so far.
Hopefully one day I'll be as good as I want, and help others
Good night.
